Celebrate fall at the coast during the annual NC Festival by the Sea, a favorite Holden Beach tradition filled with arts, crafts, food and family fun. Held near the Holden Beach bridge, the two-day festival brings together local and regional artisans, food vendors, live entertainment, contests and activities for kids.

One of the festival’s most unique traditions is the opportunity to walk across the Holden Beach bridge during the opening festivities — a special experience reserved for this annual event. Festival activities have also traditionally included a parade, horseshoe tournament, sandcastle-building contest, live music and plenty of food.

Spend the day browsing handcrafted art and coastal creations, enjoying the entertainment and taking in the relaxed atmosphere of Holden Beach during one of the area’s most popular fall weekends.
