It was perfect for our family with three young kids, giving us the space to relax and enjoy the shore without the crowds. We love the house and the beach. Holden beach is family friendly and the house had an amazing view. It is an older cottage with wood panels and kinda small but thats what we loved about it’s. Felt cozy and welcoming. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook. Steps from the ocean. We were worried since the porch is on the front of the house instead of beach side the view wasn’t gonna be good but it to the sides and gives you a perfect view of the beach. Posted on 7/16/2023 ### Cute, beachfront, basic (5/5 stars) This cottage is ON (front row!) a fantastic stretch of beach with amazing views from the living room, and the deck (even though it's on the back of the house it has a great line of sight to the beach). There was plenty there by way of amenities to meet our needs for the week from the kitchen, to the outdoor gear, washer/dryer, etc. The exterior shower/cleaning stations weren't working but Vacasa was on it and had a solution sorted out within 24 hours. The town is close (groceries and restaurants within a 10 minute drive) and has enough to meet any daily need. Walmart and more restaurants are less than 20 minutes away. Two little things I would point out to avoid disappointment: 1 - the bathrooms are very tight spaces (no knee or elbow room if you know what I mean) and 2 - there is no covered exterior space (except right under the house) so when it rains or if your tired of the sun the only option is to head inside, but the views are great there so it's not so bad. This section of beach is low traffic yet still close to the bridge. Just steps from your morning coffee to the sand and shore, so nice. There was plenty of space for our group of 7 and the downstairs laundry and storage made up for having "just enough" space in the living area. The kitchen is well stocked and surprisingly useful even though it looks small. The views from the living area are amazing and the sound of the waves just outside is life giving.
