When meals are ready, the table seats six. This home sleeps six guests in three bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a king bed, patio access, and an en-suite bathroom with a double vanity and a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, while the third bedroom has two twin beds. The adjacent bathroom is configured with a tub/shower combination. Enjoy the coastal breeze on the screened porch, which presents views of the tidal marsh. An outdoor shower is ideal for rinsing off after fun-filled beach days. The front of the house (kitchen, dining area, family room) is very spacious and comfortable. We only used one of the three bedrooms, but its bed (King) was quite comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. The house backs to a marshy area, which makes it quiet, and the beach is a very short 1 1/2 block walk. We also walked two of the nearby scenic wooden walkways that cross the marsh and Davis Creek. It looks recently renovated, so everything is relatively new and beautiful. Gorgeous back porch overlooking the marsh and back yard. Five-eight minute walk to the beach. If you’re bringing your kids, I’d recommend bringing a roku, Apple TV or chromecast for the tv in the kid’s room, as there’s no cable hookup. Lovely stay! We’re recommending this house to friends and family. We also recommend Vacasa! We’ve used various rental management companies over the years here in Oak Island, and it’s so refreshing to work with a service that actually cares about your stay. We got several texts and calls from Vacasa checking in to see if we were ok. Rare and much appreciated. Rent this house, and use Vacasa! Very convenient as it was less than a five minute walk to the beach and about a mile from the grocery store and restaurants. Quiet and safe neighborhood with both quick walks (or bike rides) to beach access or quick trips to the grocery store. We loved having our family dinners at the big table and the outdoor shower was a great addition to rinsing off sand. I would recommend bringing your own towels if it’s a larger family. And bottom part of fridge freezes things so beware of that, but neither of these hindered our stay. Our stay was great and I would book again in the future! - Courtney W. We rented a golf cart and this made the location which is four rows back from the beach much more do able going to the beach with our things. The house was very clean, and beautiful! The bed in the master bedroom was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The kitchen sink wasn’t hooked to the hot water. But, honestly these two things would not stop us from renting this house again.
